I walked to the train station and got the times to Brighton and walked back. They were change ringing at St Thomas church and I was taking a picture through the small window of the bell tower. These school children invited me up so I came. Small room high roof with bell ropes hanging down, 8 in all with the treble being rung first. "Look to, treble going, she's gone" being the start of each ring then combinations of bells ringing at the same time as called by the bell master. It was very interesting. The bells were not loud there as they were outside. I came home and sat and talked to Mrs Bond, the women who runs the B&B until late.
